Being chosen as a bridal makeup artist for someone’s wedding day is, for me, a huge privilege and honour. It’s often a huge decision for the bride and one not taken lightly. It’s only right then, that you should be able to learn a little about me before making your choice in booking my services for your bridal makeup.

I’m Ellie and I’m based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. I love servicing brides at local venues, but I’m willing to travel!
I trained for three years at Cambridge Regional College, learning all about the hair and makeup world, gaining qualifications in bridal, fashion and TV/film prosthetic work. It was hard work, but so worth it! This is where I built up my skills to be where I am today. Fun fact, I even attended a workshop with celebrity makeup artist Dominic Skinner (presenter of BBC 3 show - Glow Up)!
I specialise in classic, timeless hairstyling and sheer, glowy bridal makeup. I look at each face and hair type individually, creating a look that suits my bride and one she will look back on in years to come with pride and happiness. Importantly, my main goal is to enhance, rather than mask a woman’s natural features, because it’s important to me that each bride feels ‘herself’ on her special day.
My goal for all of my brides is that they are offered a tailored, bespoke service from their initial enquiry until the big day itself, minutes before they walk down the aisle. I’m not just there to turn up on the day and apply your makeup and twist your hair into a bridal style - I’ll be there every step of the way, including helping with your veil fitting, last minute touch-ups, assisting with your bridesmaids and of course, helping to ease any last-minute nerves!
It’s really important to me that every bride I work with feels her own kind of beautiful and that my makeup skills give a boost of confidence to walk into her new life with joy and happiness. Being part of your day in some small part means so much to me - in fact, I feel so lucky - and I’m determined to give you the most precious memories to treasure.
